Cumhuriyetçi senatörler Batı Şeria’nın adını Yahudiye ve Samiriye olarak değiştiren bir yasa tasarısı bile hazırladılar.
Arkasından, Trump şapkasından bir tavşan daha çıkardı.
Biz “Gazze’deki soykırım durdu” diye sevinirken, Gazze ve Batı Şeria’daki Filistinlileri Filistin’in dışına yeniden sürgün etme planını açıkladı.

Gazze’yi çok kârlı bir gayrımenkul yatırımı olarak görüyor ve soykırım travması yaşayan Filistinlileri can sıkıcı buluyor.
Gazze’nin sahile bakan arazilerinin potansiyel olarak çok değerli olduğunu, Filistinlileri diplomasi yoluyla Mısır’a ya da Necef çölüne taşınmaya ikna etmek gerektiğini düşünüyor.

Is there any chance these are true?
No, but it makes it easier to interpret what's happening in the world.
If you think this way, you protect yourself from the possibility of being thought of as stupid. You include yourself in the category of those who say, "Things are not as you know them."
If you ask me, no one is running the world. Or at least, not one or two of the people I mentioned.
Everyone calculates, plans, writes scenarios, implements and dresses up as best they can, to the best of their ability.
He tries, he makes mistakes, he tries again, he tries something else.
After September 11, the USA invaded Iraq and Afghanistan.
Then he withdrew from both countries.
He gave Iraq to Iran, Afghanistan to the Taliban.
Still, there are those who want to interpret these trials and errors in favor of the United States.

Following Trump's election victory, scenarios rained down from the sky.
Scenarios that have been bought -in stock market terms- by the whole world.
Regimes have straightened their hair. Assad is gone in Syria. Israel has signed a ceasefire in Gaza. Putin has taken his guard up. Meloni has put on his holiday clothes. Germany has gone into depression.
Even Ahmed al-Shara wore a tie.
And Trump moved into the White House.
As soon as he settled in, he set his sights on Canada, Greenland, and Panama.
He renamed the Gulf of Mexico.
Republican senators have even introduced a bill that would rename the West Bank Judea and Samaria.
Then Trump pulled another rabbit out of his hat.
While we were celebrating that “the genocide in Gaza has stopped,” he announced his plan to re-exile the Palestinians of Gaza and the West Bank outside of Palestine.
He said Egypt and Jordan should accept more Palestinians. He has discussed the issue with King Abdullah. “We are talking about a million and a half people and we are clearing the whole area,” he said.
He also added a slight dose of human dimension to his sentences.
"Gaza is literally devastated and people are dying there. It would be better to partner with some Arab countries and build housing in a different place where they can live in peace."
What he says is pure deportation.
He probably intends to “clear the area” and gift it to Israel.
There is no one in the world or in the Arab world who will say, "It is Israel that is shedding blood and committing genocide there. If you really want it, send Israel away."
Egypt and Jordan opposed this demand with muted voices.
I say quietly because Sisi and Abdullah cannot respond to Trump with very clear statements. Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the UAE made a joint statement at the level of foreign ministers.
No one has asked the Palestinians anything yet.
The issue seems very political. It's as if revenge is being taken for the Jewish exiles of over two thousand five hundred years ago.
Did the Palestinians drive you out and you are trying to get revenge on them?
There is also the idea that the project is a commercial investment.
I saw it again on Al-Jazeera; Trump's clever son-in-law Kushner had put forward brilliant ideas about Palestine and Gaza at Harvard University in February of last year, a year ago.
“If I were Israel, I would do my best to move the people and cleanse it (Gaza),” he said.
He sees Gaza as a very profitable real estate investment and finds the Palestinians, who have suffered the trauma of genocide, annoying.
He believes that Gaza's coastal lands are potentially so valuable that Palestinians should be persuaded through diplomacy to move to Egypt or the Negev desert.
"I will dig Necef and try to move people there. That is a better option. Then you go and finish the job."
I don't know if Kushner is inspired by his father-in-law or his father-in-law is inspired by Kushner.
There's one thing I know. The powerful can't always do what they want.
Sometimes they can, sometimes they can't.
The most important evidence of this is that the Palestinian cause has been alive for 80 years.
It is the inability of Israel and all Western powers, including the US, to intimidate and destroy the Palestinians for 80 years, despite resorting to all kinds of brutal methods.
