Ahmet ŞIK Adana - 1970, Hüseyin, Fatma. Journalist; graduated from Istanbul University, Faculty of Communication, Department of Journalism. 

Since 1990, he has worked as a reporter and photojournalist for Milliyet, Cumhuriyet, Evrensel, Yeni Yüzyıl, Birgün and Radikal newspapers and Nokta magazine. During his career as a journalist, he won many awards from national and international professional organisations. 

He has published 6 books. 

Şık speaks English at an intermediate level and is married with one child.
